Citi to Former Dewey Partner: It Wasn't Our Job to Warn You of Firm's Impending Demise

The back-and-forth between Citibank and a former Dewey & LeBoeuf partner who allegedly owes the bank $210,000 continued this week, with the bank asserting in court filings that it did not conspire with former Dewey leaders to fraudulently induce partners to join the firm and that it was up to those partners to assess Dewey's financial condition.
