By day, Deron R. Hicks investigates allegations of fraud, waste and abuse in state government as Georgia's inspector general. By night, Hicks retreats to his basement office to write. His first work of fiction, Secrets of Shakespeare's Grave, a mystery for middle-schoolers, is set for release in early September.
